2026 displayed new beginnings for Mecklenburg County’s Apparel program at Northwest School of the Arts
Northwest School of the Arts serves students from all over Mecklenburg County, and maintains the only dedicated apparel program in the district. 2026 has been a breakout year for the apparel program as SCAD graduate Brenna Bryant has not only taken the helm at the apparel program but has built an incredible student body of talent from everywhere in the district. Brenna’s energy, drive, skill, and dedication to her students is providing a driving force that will propel NWSA into the future of fashion and design.
Students in this program envision, design, craft, implement and display their work and passion every year on the runway……..and this year we really saw what these kids can do. People of Fashion Magazine was honored to be there to help preview the incredible talent NWSA is putting out. Please take a look below at the extraordinary work of these students.
